Now that the majority of my schoolwork for this semester is completed and I have a small break until my exams begin I'd like to take this time to introduce a new and much better looking northstaravengers.com. I've only got one more (very minor) technical issue to hammer out at which point all will be well and good. The website will go live this Thursday evening / Friday morning. Wow .. what a night and what a way to start off the New Year!!!! Our very first tower keys!!!!!!!  This was without a doubt THE most memorable raid thusfar. We are very proud of the hard work, and sacrifice put forth by the guild to win this event and push forward. Good job, everyone !!!!! Let's bring in some more pwnage!!!! 

I hacked those stupidly annoying comment titles out of the template, should be more readable now. I also disabled avatars in comments because the theme doesn't place them correctly, signatures are still active however.

Okay... Sorry about the longer than expected downtime. My host did the reinstall monday night as I expected... but they installed the wrong operating system. It took them another 48 hours to get the right one on here. So, everything's back to normal and the underlying problems which necessitated a reinstall seem to have been resolved.

On a related note, due to an attempted brute force intrusion that actually brought the server offline this morning I have blocked ALL traffic to and from china along with a whole slew of IP addresses which have been associated with malware, advertisements and other malicious acts. In total this totals over 200 million IP addresses. If you find you cannot access the site from home/work or the like please let me know by mail (pinhedd@northstaravengers.com) and I will remove your IP block from the blacklist.

Okay so, I didn't intend to break the site this time, honest. Technically I didn't break it, I just broke the path required to get to it... it gets more technical from here. Anyway, I'm going to be doing a complete reload of the Operating System on my server because a few important things aren't running properly and I cant seem to find an easy way to fix them. This will A: result in some lengthy downtime (possibly over 24 hours) and B: not affect DKP or anything in any way,so dont worry.
